Pool robot season-start checklist

Start with the brushes and the filter basket. Brushes that have flattened over winter still turn, but they no longer lift debris from the waterline. Replace them at the start of the season rather than mid-summer.

Then check the cable and the power unit for damage, and run the cleaner for a short cycle in shallow water before a full pool cycle. If the unit stops early, the most common cause is a blocked filter rather than a motor fault.
